CHILDCARE DESIGN

CHILDCARE DESIGN IN MELBOURNE

“Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded.” These little buds need the best atmosphere to unfold them as the best human beings. As much as the right staff is required to uncover and understand their potential, the atmosphere also plays a great role. Here are a few Childcare Design Ideas that could be incorporated to give children the right kind of surroundings

1. Welcome Area
2. Silence Space
3. Lunch Area
4. Playing Space
5. Classroom Space

WELCOME AREA

The welcome area should be welcoming. Bright colors and graphics are an instant relief and change when someone enters the Childcare Center from outside. This space plays an important role and should be designed accordingly.

SILENCE SPACE

The Children could sleep here and therefore should be free from any noisy elements. Mobiles etc should be strictly prohibited and noise proof doors and wall covers can be used.

LUNCH AREA

It is often considered that if you look at tasty meals, you can easily develop a hunger for it. So lunch areas should have interior and furniture that encourage children to eat food and eat healthy above all.

PLAYING SPACE

Playing space should have rides according to different age groups and much emphasis should be put on the free space where they can run and play games.

CLASSROOM SPACE

Teaching should be fun and for that children should enjoy and feel good while learning. Classroom spaces should be well ventilated and well lit so that there is good interaction with nature and the classroom should not seem gloomy.
